Calgary Health Region Mental Heath Services

The Calgary zone Addiction & Mental Health service goal since the year 2001 has been to maintain a network of mental health care across the continuum including: prevention and promotion services, early intervention services, crisis intervention services, inpatient acute care, rehabilitation services, outpatient and community treatment (both general and specialized), and sustain and support services to facilitate community-based living.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police - RCMP

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is the Canadian national police service and an agency of the Ministry of Public Safety Canada.
The RCMP is unique in the world since it is a national, federal, provincial and municipal policing body. We provide a total federal policing service to all Canadians and policing services under contract to the three territories, eight provinces (except Ontario and Quebec), more than 190 municipalities, 184 Aboriginal communities and three international airports.

Vulcan Business Development Society was formed to support and encourage Economic Development throughout the geographic boundaries of Vulcan County. Vulcan County

Vulcan County covers an approximate area of 545,000 hectares and encompasses the Town of Vulcan, the Villages of Carmangay, Champion, Lomond, Milo and Arrowwood, and the Hamlets of Brant, Ensign, Herronton, Kirkcaldy, Mossleigh, Queenstown, Shouldice, and Travers. The population of the County (including the town and villages) is approximately 6,600 people.

Vulcan County Adult Learning Council

Vulcan County Adult Learning Council is a non-profit organization partially funded by the Community Programs Branch of Alberta Advanced Education and Technology, Community Programs. The council offers courses at various locations throughout Vulcan County including Vulcan, Arrowwood, Carmangay, Champion, Lomond, Milo, and Mossleigh (see our current calendar or visit the course page on this website). The council office is located on the 2nd floor, 102 Centre St, Vulcan, Alberta (Vulcan County Office). Council membership consists of volunteer representatives from communities throughout Vulcan County and representatives from local agencies and organizations involved in adult lifelong learning.

Chinook Arch Regional Library System assists a network of cooperating libraries in Southwest Alberta to provide convenient access to information and library resources.

Chinook Arch Regional Library System is also a member of The Alberta Library which is a province wide library network aimed at providing Albertans with access to the materials and information resources in many different libraries.
